The Front Mission series remains an under-appreciated gem in the West, but the few fans that have played it will sing endless praises about it. Because of this very niche fandom, many entries in the long-running series have been confined to Japan – including but not limited to Front Mission 5: Scars of the War which was the last numbered entry before it was rebooted and promptly failed to garner any audience yet again.
