The Resistance series is yet another one of Insomniac’s beloved franchises that have been put on indefinite hold since quite some time. Resistance’s brand of quality first-person shooting and its offerings within the multiplayer component remain commendable to this date, but a new game is nowhere to be found. Insomniac did round up the story fairly well over the course of multiple entries, but we can’t help but wonder about the many fresh stories that could be told within this universe. Insomniac currently has its hands full with projects like Wolverine, but the developer has proven to be a more than worthy workhorse with its high quality output in recent years – so there is a little bit of probability that Resistance 4 might be in the works.
