Star Fox Adventures threw a final twist at players that could be looked at as fan service, but it just ended up being, to put it bluntly, stupid. The game revealed that the game’s main villain, General Scales, wasn’t the main bad guy at all, and it as Andross who was the real big bad. Except Andross was canonically dead, and had barely even been mentioned throughout the entire game.
