Let’s get this straight, a game may be really good, but nobody wants to read a game’s story on their smartphones. The fact that a lot of elements of the story are included in the Grimoire Cards means that you have to read them on your smartphone, and this means that you end up being detached from the game in the first place.
There’s no point in furthering a story of a game when players are NOT playing the game. Or even if they are playing the game, picking up a phone to look into things would still mean that the player is being distracted from the game itself.
Even with all its flaws, Destiny is a far more entertaining sci-fi shooter that has been there in some time. You can cut it some slack because it’s not as broken as Battlefield 4, not as repetitive as Titanfall, and not as appallingly bad as CoD Ghosts. Destiny has its cons, but the game still has tonnes of potential to capitalise upon. Don’t just give up on it yet.
