STEVE

The Jar-Jar Binks of Resident Evil– not because he’s got a goofy design or talks funny, but because, well- everybody hates him. And for good reason too. Steve is perhaps one of the worst characters Resident Evil has ever portrayed, and he would have to be seriously reworked in any potential remake. Capcom can’t cut him out, of course, simply given how prominently he features in the game, but what they can do is fix him. Change his entire personality, maybe, so that he isn’t annoying constantly, 100 per cent of the time.
