One of the most notable things developers Arc System Works are doing to change the core of the game is to make the game’s competitive scene an even playing field for players across all regions. In an interview with Crunchyroll, BlazBlue creator Toshimchi Mori talked about how the online leaderboards of previous games would usually be much too dominated by Japanese players, since they’d have the advantage of having earlier access to the game in arcades. With Cross Tag Battle, the developers plan on removing this advantage. How exactly are they going to do that?
