SEMI OPEN WORLD
You don’t need us to tell you that open world has become a major trend in the industry with almost every major (or semi-major) release choosing to put players in the middle of a large, open, and explorable space. And while Vampyr won’t be a fully open world game, it is going with a semi-open world approach. The world won’t be as large as what you expect to see in games such as Skyrim or GTA, for instance, but most of it will be open for exploration to the players at their leisure. That said, a few areas will be gated behind story progress.
