NBA 2K18‘s microtransactions were pretty bad, especially in its MyCareer mode. Essentially, almost ever activity was locked behind payments, and though these payments could be made with credits you can earn in the game itself, the prices themselves were unreasonable, to say the least. Add to that the fact that even things such as getting a haircut or getting a tattoo for your player are to be paid for, and the entire affair becomes that much more ridiculous.
