The beginning of Prey isn’t really the beginning. Heck, the scene after that isn’t even the beginning. However, the opener does go from “average day in the life of Morgan Yu” to “everyone is dying, holy hell, I knew I shouldn’t have pushed the fat man onto the tracks” very quickly. Things become a little more manageable as weapons are obtained but the first sequence is as harrowing as it it is confusing.
