Journalist Miles Upshur is put through his paces in Outlast. He survives whatever the dilapidated asylum can throw at him, but he is eventually gunned down as he finally rushes towards the hospital’s doors. But his demise unleashes the Walrider – the vicious creature that had taken Upshur’s body as its new host. The closing moments of the game are filled with the blood-curdling screams of Miles’ attackers.
