FROSTPUNK 2
11 bit studios decided to move to Unreal Engine 5 rather than its internal proprietary engine for the development of Frostpunk 2, and as its critical reception suggests, it’s certainly a worthy sequel. But though its post-apocalyptic setting and its mechanically dense gameplay and simulation mechanics are what really make Frostpunk 2 tick, something else that contributes to the experience is its visuals. The game boasts one of the most well-realized (and bleakest) post-apocalyptic settings you’ll find, and the fact that it’s as visually impressive as it is has a big role to play in that.
