We’re not going to overstate things here, because Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is very much a AA game, so to speak, and not, as such, a graphical powerhouse. But it is a good looking game in its own right. It brings its bleak world to life quite effectively, and though it never quite scales the visual heights of so many of the other games in this feature, it does always maintain a respectable level of quality on that front- which is fine, because really, the story and the writing are where this game’s biggest strengths lie.
