The Last of Us 1 Remake

Update: The Last of Us Part 1 Remake is confirmed.

While The Last of Us is still a perfectly playable and visually striking game, at the time of writing this, rumours have suggested that a remake has been in development for some time – originally at Sony Bend and now, at Naughty Dog. Of course, nothing is confirmed as of yet – although VentureBeat’s Jeff Grubb has recently stated that the remake is targeting a release window of as early as Holiday 2022; presumably to cash in on the hype and anticipation surrounding The Last of Us HBO adaptation which will be airing next year.
