BURNOUT 6

Burnout Paradise Remastered

Burnout was once one of the best, most high quality arcade racing franchises out there, but with EA wanting to capitalize on Need for Speed as a brand, they chose to focus all their energies on that instead. Burnout died an abrupt death as a result, and in spite of the launch of Burnout Paradise Remastered in 2018, it doesn’t seem like it’ll be seeing a revival. For starters, Criterion has been reduced to a support studio, so it’s hard to imagine them working on a new Burnout game. On top of that, EA seem all too happy focusing entirely on Need for Speed with Ghost Games.
