XCOM: Enemy Unknown
When building a team in a strategy game, it can be kind of disheartening when one of your strongest soldiers fall victim to an alien laser. XCom: Enemy Unknown is a turn-based strategy game that puts the player in the position to boss around a group of soldiers. Of course, as with any strategy game, you can upgrade your soldiers’ abilities and weapons. You can also recruit new soldiers with different classes, all with different abilities to turn the table of battle in your favor. That being said, you can also lose a soldier in battle. While it may not be a big deal if it were a soldier who just got in, imagine if it were a soldier who has been with you since the beginning. It’s even worse since the battle continues and you are out a soldier, which could cost you the match. Not to mention the emotional bonding you had with them.
