Team Fortress 2

Spending real money in Team Fortress 2 will buy you a Key. These keys can be used to open Supply crates, which essentially amount to random drops. They will gift players will weapons and hats, but sadly are engineered in such a way that it is faster to buy keys than earn items. Earning items has an accompanying sense of satisfaction that keeps players engrossed in the gameplay. Simply paying to succeed comes with no fanfare. The free to play nature of the game means it needs some way to make money, but we just wish it wouldn’t get in the way of our fun.
