Mortal Kombat X

Want extra fatalities, brutalities, character art or costumes in Mortal Kombat X? Then you’ll need to visit the Krypt. Players save up Krypt coins earned in battles and can then spend them to crack open a tombstone a get a random reward. While time-consuming, it could be much worse, but the developers included an option to buy every item from the Krypt. This ruins the game’s progression, giving combatants no reason to continue playing unless they want to jump in for a bout or two. For the common player, it’s an easy way to try out everything the game has on offer for $25. But in reality, it’s a pointless inclusion meant to serve only the lazy.
