DECAY OF LOGOS

decay of logos

With a beautiful art style, a focus on old-school exploration, and combat and mechanics similar to the Souls series, Decay of Logos sounded like a great idea on paper. Unfortunately, this is one of those cases where the execution does not do justice to the idea. Combat was broken for multiple reasons, controls were unresponsive, and the game also suffered from countless bugs and glitches. Decay of Logos ultimately came across as a game that, in trying to take cues from other successful franchises, ended up losing sight of the most basic things that matter the most in a game.
