Gacha games are renowned for this, of course, but ASTRA: Knights of Veda feels like their predatory nature is taken to a whole new level with the grind being exacerbated by tough opponents always being a few levels higher than you whilst there not being any systems in place to alleviate the constant pain of grinding for upgrades unless you spend.
