Hunt the Night

Moonlight Games’ 2D pixel art dark fantasy action-adventure game Hunt the Night has been in development for a couple of years by this point, and at the recent Guerrilla Collective showcase, the indie developer showcased another look at the game, its combat, and much more.

It’s looking interesting, to say the least. Think Bloodborne, and then jam it into a 2D top-down experience. Gothic music, eldritch nightmares, a variety of enemies, fast-paced and punchy combat, several formidable bosses with what are looking like challenging encounters, and an interesting dark fantasy aesthetic are all shown off in this gameplay trailer. Check it out below.

Hunt the Night is in development for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Currently, it has no specific release date announced. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more updates on the game. Many more announcements and updates are going to be coming in as E3 week continues as well, so keep your eyes peeled for all that and more.
