The upcoming 360 exclusive, XCOM, from 2K has supposedly undergone major changes since we last saw it announced seven months ago. The usually reliable Superannuation posted on Twitter this morning that “FWIW, there’s a rumor that XCOM’s undergone some big changes since it was announced.”
According to 2K XCOM is “the re-imagining of one of gaming’s most storied and beloved franchises. [It] combines the strategic core of the groundbreaking franchise with a suspense-filled narrative and distills it into a tense and unique first-person shooter experience.” Dissapointments aside about the game’s genre change, it will be interesting to see what these major changes are.
