3DS AC adapter price tag lowered by Nintendo Japan

Posted By | On 06th, Jul. 2012

Nintendo Japan has lowered the price of 3DS AC adapters in wake of the 3DS XL release worldwide.

Now you may be wondering “What the hell, this is so odd!”, but that’s where you are wrong, my friend. It’s not odd since the 3DS XL does not come bundled with an AC adapter for some reason. OK, the reason is, Nintendo is trying to save cost, but if you’re a Nintendo fan and already have all their portables, you will be pleased to know that you can use the DSi or 3DS vanilla adapter to charge the new 3DS model.

The price has been reduced from  ¥1,500 to ¥1,000. The new handheld revision will come out on July 28 in Japan and EU, and August 1st in the US.
