Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

When The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker trailer debuted, a number of devout Zelda fans thought this new instalment of the series was too childish, and could perhaps steer the series in a more “cartoonish” direction. It was believed that cel-shaded graphics were like the easy way out for developers. People thought that cel-shaded graphics weren’t pushing the console to its limit, which is totally ridiculous. When the game was finally released it went from controversial to not really important, despite seeing rave reviews. Now, Nintendo is gearing up to release the game in a new HD package later this year.
