In Bayonetta, the developers decided that the protagonist would use her hair as her clothing. Of course, she was a witch so her hair was connected with her magic spells…or something. Long story short, performing select special moves saw Bayonetta getting skimpier and skimpier as time wore on. The fact that the camera lingered on her body at places, which has continued into Bayonetta 2, didn’t help matter. While it didn’t make the internet explode with rage, quite a few eye-brows were raised for sure.
