People were just plain creeped out by the E3 gameplay trailer of Kinectimals. The demo showed a small girl looking after a pet tiger on the screen, managing to be both slightly adorable and also really scary at the same time. People were wondering just what the heck they were watching. Sure it seemed very much like the future with virtual pets that were aware of you and that you could interact with but dear lord, the eyes. THE EYES.
