These games can be found in most every arcade: and that’s a good thing. Often overlooked and under-appreciated, these once unassuming titles have stood the test of time and are just as fun today as the year they were first installed and, in some cases, have blossomed into multi-million dollar titles that are still with us today! Take a look!

Ghosts'n'Goblins
This classic side-scrolling platformer by CAPCOM stars luckless, lance-throwing knight, Sir Arthur as he battles to save the kidnapped princess from evil clutches of Satan, King of the Demon world. Arthur must defeat a panoply of cyclops, dragons, and other evil monsters (and, yes, ghosts and goblins, too) on each of the game's 6 unforgiving levels. Sound too simple? It is: Arthur can only survive 2 attacks before dying (on top of being reduced to his unknightly underpants after the 1st hit) and must restart the entire level upon death. And if that wasn't enough, at the game's finale Satan has tricked Arthur and he must replay the whole game again to win... on a higher difficulty. Sorry, Arthur. Where else can I find Arthur in his underpants? Ghouls'n'Ghosts (1986)
