MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER ONLINE- Star Wars: The Old Republic

YOU TURNED HER AGAINST ME!!!!

BioWare has been having a tough time this year- first they released Dragon Age II, which, as a standalone title was decent, but compared to what everyone wanted it to be, was a sore thumb. Then, the last Mass Effect 2 DLC- The Arrival, was a huge disappointment. As if that wasn’t enough, they’ve been receiving criticism from fans and haters alike, all throughout the year. With The Old Republic, though, it looks like they might just get some respite. Sure, it looks like a World of Warcraft clone right now, but Bioware has promised they will support the game for literally decades to come, and will keep adding to it meaningfully for many, many years. With the Star Wars universe and mythos, BioWare’s style of games and storytelling, and an overall polished experience, it looks like The Old Republic might turn out to be the game that finally dethrones WoW as the ultimate MMO.
