Games can’t be artistically stimulating
The biggest and most commonly subscribed load of tripe I’ve ever heard. The sad thing is that the more popular games like Mario and Call of Duty perpetuate the idea that games are not artistic. That’s not to say these games are without merit, but they are titles that place pure fun and enjoyment over any higher ideals or values. As a result, those who know little about games assume that all titles follow a similar suit. With games like Shadow of the Colossus, Braid and a plethora of other more obscure indie titles striving for that little bit more in their story-telling, it just isn’t right to say that games aren’t art. Now if only everyone could come around to this way of thinking.
