Rationale for ‘War’

The Phantom Pain is going to be a game that will heavily be based on revenge and the actions of a few that result in consequences for many others. Something that really nags me here is that how so much blood is shed, so many lives are lost to serve the purpose of a few.

I really want to see how – after portraying the obvious ‘revengeful’ tangent that the game will take – The Phantom Pain goes about showing us gamers the reasons for Snake’s actions and how he means to justify the same. It may very well be that the game would never reveal a just cause for all the bloodshed which will be quite something to behold. But then again, Kojima Productions has been treading a quagmire since the start of this.
