Star Fox is a game that is simply mind-blowing. Even today, the 3D imaging on a game released all the way back in 1993 is insane. I don’t give a damn if it isn’t real 3D, it was so ahead of its time. Thus, the idea of a sequel was nothing short of exciting but, with the Nintendo 64 set to be coming soon, it got cancelled in favour of Star Fox 64. Granted, Star Fox 64 took on a vast amount of Star Fox 2’s content but, on account of delays to the N64’s release date, it meant we were without Fox and the gang for a massive four years.
