You know the credits you've skipped over in pretty much every game you've ever played? Well, consider how important they are in the context of the industry as a whole. Frustrated by Atari's lack of recognition of its programmers, Warren Robinett added a secret room with his name in it to his seminal RPG Adventure. In one fell swoop he subsequently invented the credits screen, the easter egg and the action RPG genre all in one. What a legend.
