Borderlands 2 New Gameplay Details, Enemies And Mechanics Explained

Posted By | On 12th, Aug. 2012

Gearbox Software has released some new gameplay details on Borderlands 2, and it’s been revealed that there will more more varied enemies in your second playthrough than the first. This is to keep the game fresh and it’s a fantastic way to do it.

Gearbox’s art director Jeramy told OXM that players would have to re-spec their characters because there will be enemies that the player won’t see on their first run.

“New mechanics and new creatures will appear that you’re [sic] wont see on your first run. You can dig deep down in the skill trees and find skills that you haven’t been able to access before, combining these things together with your gear. Super rare gear can sometimes change the way you play the game – you might, for example, find that gun that fires forever,” he said.

Now how cool is that? Things like these encourage replays without making it a chore.

The game will be released on September 18th for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
