Eric Chahi the man behind critically acclaimed games like Out of This World and  Heart of Darkness, is now back to video games development with ‘From Dust’.

The new trailer shows off  dynamic world simulation technology. “We want to create a universe that reflects the power of nature, the relative insignificance of mankind and the brevity of his lifespan,” the narrator explains in the video.

Developed by Ubisoft Montpeiller, Dust will be released on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in the second quarter of 2011.

The game will debut at this year’s GDC in Germany, but for now we have this tech demo for you.
