GRID 2 could come to the Wii U

We shall see.

Wii U will be released later this year and there’s already a final list of launch titles available here. However, it’s always a challenge for third-parties to put their games on Nintendo system so much that it’s actually bewildering that Mass Effect 3 will not be released on launch day for the Wii U.

However, Codemasters have mentioned that there’s a chance that GRID 2 could be released on the Wii U. The platforms aren’t confirmed yet. GRID 2 is a highly anticipated sequel which was totally unexpected, and just like the first game, this looks completely stunning. I’m saying that based on the two videos from EG Expo which showcases the game’s visual fidelity.

Associate producer Iain Smith told Joystiq that the game count come on the Wii U some point down the line: “It’s not being ruled out, and certainly [that applies] across all Codemasters titles,” he said.

“Some platforms are more appropriate for certain types of games, but we just have to make decisions as and when they’re appropriate. We can’t say too much more at the moment.”

Yes I know you want to watch these two videos, so check them out below. It will be interesting to see the game on a next-gen platform but there’s always a PC if you want extra graphical oomph.
