The Wii U releases on November 18th- November 30th in Europe- along with 23 launch titles, and two of them, namely New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land, have already received their very first official reviews.

In their Christmas 2012 issue, magazine GamesMaster reviewed the two games. Gaming Everything got its hands on the two reviews.

Nintendo Land received a surprisingly high score of 86% (no one expected it to be any good after that E3 showing), getting 90% for graphics, 86% for gameplay, 95% for accessibility, 82% for lifespan and 92% for innovation.

The review said: “As a discerning gamer, you may not find all that Nintendo Land has to offer to your liking, but should you fork out for a Wii U, you owe it to your family, to your friends and to everyone else you know, to bag a copy of this to go with it.”

New Super Mario Bros U. got a lower score, but a solid score nonetheless, scoring 82%. It scored 82% in graphics, 85% in gameplay, 90% in accessibility, 80% in lifespan and 75% for innovation.

The reviewer the game is “a great excuse for families to gather round the TV, and an enticing glimpse of Mario’s HD future.”

More Wii U reviews will be coming in soon, including our very own. Stay tuned.
