7 Navy SEALs disciplined for helping EA with Medal of Honor: Warfighter

Tango down.

This is sort of hilarious. EA spent a lot of money on getting 7 Navy SEALs to work on Medal of Honor: Warfighter, and give their inputs on how to make it realistic. It didn’t work, did it? Our review panned the game for being generic and something that no one should play.

It’s also been a massive critical and commercial failure, failing to reach the sales set by the first game which was released in 2010. EA must be disappointed but now the 7 Navy SEALs are going to be as well, as they will be disciplined.

CBS News reports that one of them also was in the mission that took down Bin Laden in Pakistan. They have been detained for giving away secrets. If they did we surely didn’t find any in the game!

“In fact, the SEALs have been buried in an avalanche of publicity, some of it approved by Adm. William McRaven, the commander of the bin Laden raid and now the head of the Special Operations Command, for instance, the movie “Act of Valor.”,” wrote CBS News.

“Yes, there are SEALs, I think eight of them, active duty Navy SEALs, that are in it,” said McRaven. “It started as a recruiting film.”
