Sports Connection from Ubisoft for the Wii U sounds pretty cool, it’s a collection of sports mini games that you have seen before on other systems including the Wii, which started the whole thing in the first place. The baseball looks great and as the developer mentions in the video, you can take advantage of the gamepad for accurate pitching and hitting.

In this first Episode, discover in details how Sports Connection will bring you a fun new way to play Baseball, soccer and Tennis. Specifically developed for the Wii U, Sports Connection takes advantage of all the Nintendo’s new controller functionalities, switching from Multiplayer to Solo-player or joining on Co-op game plays.
