ArmA 3 devs being held in prison, denied bail

... Wut

ArmA 3 developers,  Ivan Buchta and Martin Pezlar, who had been behind bars for the last 70 days in a Greek jail, have now been denied bail, and will be held prisoner based on charges of espionage. They were made to wait longer in prison to find out the verdict of their appeal due to strikes that affected the justice system.

Czech news site Rozhla reports that they will now be tried in front of a Greek court. The duo has been charged with spying on Greek military installations and face around 20 years in jail.

Miloslav Buchta, father of Ivan, said: “They’re in a cell with over 25 people, they sleep on the ground. They have food twice a day.”

“Our boys no longer tell us on the phone that it’s alright, that they’re handling it,” one of the duo’s mothers said. “After the court’s decision we only hear from them something that no parent ever wants to hear: Mom, dad, please save us.”

A fan campaign has also been launched that calls for the freedom of the two devs.

This seems a little outlandish. Tell us what you think in your comments.
