God of War: Ascension dev diary shows how the multiplayer is being designed

That does seem like they are putting a lot of effort in it.

God of War: Ascension is scheduled to release next year but Sony Santa Monica have released a dev diary to show how difficult it is to design a multiplayer mode for a game such as these. Most God of War games have had a semi-movable camera where the developers mostly show you what needs to be shown, but in multiplayer it will change a bit.

The developers talk about all the little aspects like animations, camera, and other things that shows how it is to make a game. The game looks really fun at this stage and since most people are skeptical about the multiplayer component, it looks like the studio is taking those criticisms seriously and working hard on delivering a solid experience.

There’s a single player mode too but you already know what to expect from it, right? The game is exclusive to the PS3 and comes out on March 2013.
