Playstation Store gets 1.02 update

Not a big patch.

Playstation Store has been updated to version 1.02, and it’s not clear what the update does. It would be nice if it increases the loading speed as the current speeds are pathetic and only detract from the experience.

The update is live in Europe as well and is about 26mb in size. There are no new patch notes on the PS Blog and it does not look like the store runs faster, but Sony’s updates are usually created for annoying people rather than actually adding features.

Some people are reporting that the store is indeed fast so go hop on PSN check for yourself. The store will update tomorrow in the US and on Wednesday in the EU, and there’s a lot of content that’s scheduled for this month, including the PS + ones.
