Crytek and EA have revealed that Crysis 3 has been showing some very promising signs of commercial success, with its pre orders being 35 per cent more than the pre orders Crysis 2 had right before its release.

Crysis 3’s beta was also made available a few days back, and since then, the beta has attracted 3 million players, despite a few complaints of compatibility and general gameplay flaws made by the people- but I guess that’s the point of a beta after all.

The Crysis channel on YouTube garnered over 16 million hits as well, so the game’s popularity is certainly rising by the day.

Crysis 3 releases for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in North America on February 19 and in Europe on February 22. Stay tuned for more updates.

Till then, tell us what you thought of Crysis 3’s beta in the comments section below.
