Don't expect answers to the Flying giant whale on fire.

The Phantom Pain has been shrouded in mystery ever since it debuted at the 2012 Spike VGA’s. Many speculate that the game is somehow linked with the Metal Gear franchise, and some even consider the possibility of it being Metal Gear Solid V in disguise. These rumors stem from the fact that the protagonist shown in the debut trailer bears an uncanny resemblance to Big Boss. It doesn’t help the fact that the developer has been extremely tight lipped, neither dismissing nor acknowledging these rumors.

However, it looks like we’ll get at least a snippet of information on the game by this week. GTTV’s Geoff Keighley has tweeted that he’s off “to interview Moby Dick Studio Head CEO Joakim Mogren” today. Only to be followed a few mins later with another tweet: “The Mogren interview will be on GTTV this Thurs night. He said he has something new to show me”.

Be sure to tune into GTTV this Thursday night for the interview. In the meantime, let us know your thoughts on The Phantom Pain in the comments section below.
