Q Games is a well known studio for creating the ‘PixelJunk’ games during the early to mid life of the PlayStation 3. Meanwhile, Double Eleven is a studio that developed popular titles such as the recently released Limbo and LittleBigPlanet for PlayStation Vita.
According to GamesIndustry International it has been announced that Double Eleven and Q Games will be partnering up together to develop future game projects.
Here is what Dylan Cuthbert from Q Games had to say regarding the partnership with Double Eleven:
“Double Eleven has an outstanding track record in video game development, and we like their way of thinking when it comes to publishing,” said Q Games president Dylan Cuthbert. “[We’re] about making memorable experiences for everyone, and Double Eleven are the perfect partner to see our vision through.” According to Double Eleven COO Mark South, it’s “pretty clear that we would hugely complement each other’s plans for making great games.”
Here is a hope that something awesome will be made for Vita and maybe even PlayStation 4. Let us know how you feel about this in the comments below.
