Respawn Entertainment has warned players against scams concerning its upcoming, highly anticipated first person action game, TitanFall. The studio took to Twitter to advise fans against engaging with any websites that might claim to offer betas and pre-releasing testing of the game ahead of its 2014 release.

On their Twitter, Respawn insisted that “all sites advertising Beta access are 100% scams.”

It should be a bit heartening for Respawn Entertainment (formed by Infinity Ward alum Jason West and Vince Zampella in the wake of their litigation with Activision) that their upcoming title is so popular that it has scammers trying to literally cash in on it. Just another feather in the cap for the game, which has won all sorts of rave critical acclaim since its debut earlier this year at E3.

TitanFall hits the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC next year; although EA is being evasive about the possibility of the game hitting PlayStation, Infinity Ward has insisted that it is Microsoft’s cloud focus with the Xbox One that enables TitanFall, something which would be impossible to recreate on the PS4.
