War of the Vikings Offers Free to Play Weekend

Paradox Interactive’s War of the Vikings is currently in Steam Early Access, but they will be offering free access to it over the weekend, so players can check it out and get a feel for it themselves. If players like the game enough and want to continue playing it after the weekend, they are free to purchase it and continue playing it.

To celebrate the free weekend, Paradox has also launched a new Conquest mode for the game, which will allow players to try their hand at the game’s unique model of skill based combat.

For those who do stick with the game after the free weekend, they will get access to the largest update the game has gotten yet, which will introduce, among other things, a new class of weaponry (spears), and a new map. In addition, a new battle chatter system will be added to the game, which will let players communicate with each other in game.
