The Wasteland 2 beta is now finally available to early backers of the game who pledged $55 or higher (except for the $60 Late Backers) on Steam, the project’s Kickstarter page announced today. They are also looking at putting the game on Steam Early Access once the initial beta period is done.

The post is pretty extensive, as it explains all the mechanics of the game in depth, also explaining that the mechanics of the game now being set, now is the time to polish the game and elevate it from good to great. It also lists restrictions on coverage (none whatsoever, so long as it is clearly mentioned that this is an early, unfinished beta build). The post also lists the big listing and reporting mechanism.

Wasteland 2 is the sequel to the classic CRPG, in development by inExile, for the PC. It promises to be a return to the glory day of the RPG genre. Stay tuned for more coverage.
