Will Final Fantasy 15 Run At 1080p And 60fps On The PS4 And Xbox One?

Parity across both systems with full graphical effects on. Can Square Enix make it happen?

44. Final Fantasy 15

Final Fantasy XV is one of the most anticipated next gen titles which is currently in development for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at Square Enix. It was confirmed not too long ago that the game is deep into development and is not expected to be released until 2015.

Given the long development cycle that the game has seen, it obviously begs the question: Will Final Fantasy 15 run at 1080p and 60fps on the PS4 and Xbox One? Most next gen games have failed to achieve that golden standard of resolution and frame rate. However as time will pass and developers get themselves more acquainted with the new consoles, it might be very much possible that we will start seeing more games consistently running at that standard.

Both Microsoft and Sony are hard at work, improving their respective Software Development Kits, tools and drivers. And if last gen was anything to go by, Final Fantasy 15 might be the very first AAA multiplatform that will achieve parity without compromising on graphical effects on both the new systems.

Do you think Square Enix will be able to achieve this technical feat? What are your thoughts in this matter? Let us know in the comments section below.
