Battlefield 4: Naval Strike is the first DLC being released for the game since EA and DICE publicly apologized for the state the game was released in and promised to work on fixing the game before releasing any more DLC.
In a blog post, DICE’s Lead gameplay designer Gustav Halling gave us some insight into the upcoming expansion pack, talking about the maps in the pack, for example, and how it was a challenge getting the balance of land and water right across them so that all units would actually have utility in matches. He also talked about the M320 GL: a new grenade launcher that will fire three rounds without reloading. This comes at a price, though, as its splash damage will be notably reduced.
Battlefield 4: Naval Strike launches at the end of this month. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information. And hope to goodness it doesn’t break the game again.
