Ubisoft has just released free DLC for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, the Animus Project Update 2.0. The update includes a new game mode and a new multiplayer map called ‘Pienza’. Assassin’s and targets can blend in as well as disappear on the new map. The new game mode is a Capture the Chests type of game where there are two teams of three which either capture or or defend the chests. The Capturing team has HUDs to locate and capture the chests, while the Defending team must use their skills locate the enemies to protect their chests.

To add to the competition part of the game and keep it going strong, an Abstergo ‘Templar Score’ feature has been added. There is also now a ‘Templar Grade’ added which is updated weekly based on a users scores in previous weeks. This ‘Templar Grade’ splits players in to 10 specific categories, each of them representing part of the hierarchy of the community. So this is used to reward hard working Abstergo recruits and add more of a competitive edge to the game.  The DLC is now available for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
