This Video Is Konami’s Thank You To The Legions of Metal Gear Fans

It's pretty awesome.

In honor of the just released Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, which is actually surprisingly actually good in spite of all initial impressions pointing to the contrary, Konami has released a new video to celebrate the launch, and to thank the legions of Metal Gear fans around the world that have made the series as successful as it is today.

The new live action video sees Kojima infiltrate Micromania, and is actually really, really good- it’s really worth a watch for all fans of the Metal Gear series (although if you aren’t a fan, or have been out of the loop, you might just end up thoroughly confused).

Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is the prologue to the upcoming Metal gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Think of it as the appetizer to the main course- it does an adequate job of selling you on the new direction that the games are about to go in from a gameplay perspective, so if you are curious or worried about The Phantom pain, give Ground Zeroes a gander.
